Hi guys!! I'm thinking about doing a short aquathlon (800m swim / 6k run) but have never done one. What do you wear? Can I just wear my running shorts? How does the bib work, do I need a belt, or can I paint my number on my arms? Do I pre-stage my shoes at a specific area to put them on after the swim?
Thanks for any help with this, Mike

I have done one. Bascially you can wear tri shorts or in my case a swim suit that can double as running shorts.
They write you number on your thighs and arms so no need for a race bib. Find a place along the fence by the pool to stage your shoes and singlet. If you can, clip your bag on the fence off of the ground because with it being a pool people do flip turns and water gets all around the cement around the pool.
They really are pretty cool to do- have fun! |

Sounds good. Thanks for the tips. This one's in the ocean though, so I'll have to hang my stuff off a tree or something. ha ha. Thanks! |
