IBTNP had a long period of time off and is trying really hard to take things easy as to not hurt themselves while retraining.

I bet the next person is preparing for their first 50k trail run.
False. I am far from that. No plans for race for a while.
IBTNP has runs on bridges reg.

False. Usually the weekends are the only time when I can fit in a long run. I've been slacking lately and haven't done any long runs, I need to work on that.
IBTNP has a short temper.

Hehe. Did Mrs. Bonkin call you?
IBTNP is glad it's summer - even though it makes planning runs a little more challenging.

I'm rather liking spring here and not in a hurry for summer to get here. (It was down to 5*C/41*F overnight and even now at almost 8 am, it's only 10*C/50*F. Cold and windy today).
IBTNP is tired this morning.

Cheers to Canadian weather (but not winters)!
True... so tired. Jet lag finally catching up on me...
IBTNP is faithfully hoping for a small break in the current weather today, be it rain, wind, or extreme heat, so they can go and get in a decent run.
Goals for 2009:
Find the perfect jogging stroller
Sub-3hr Marathon
Contemplate an ultra

You got that right. It was 101 when I ran yesterday, and breezy (warm wind, though). Made for a hard, hot run.
It seems it has been windy on every run for the past three weeks. And, always in my face. Can't figure it out. Must be a running thing. Anyway, it's getting really old. As am I.
IBTNP is breaking in a new pair of running shoes.

False. I gave up on my new running shoes, they hurt too much so now I'm back to my semi-retired ones until I give up and spend more money for ANOTHER new pair.
IBTNP is looking forward to their beach vacation next week! Yay beach running!

False, did that already.
IBTNP is feeling better about running in the heat

True! BTW - Welcome to RA!
IBTNP spent way too much money tonight going out to eat for an early Father's day dinner for the whole family.

Nope, but I had a few $$ weeks not long ago--stocked-up on a shoe that was discontinued...in case I didn't like the replacement (which I do, so I may unload the "old" ones on eBay, since they are in pretty high demand).
IBTNP is going to a water/amusement park tomorrow--woot!
