Any tips for cardio training after foot surgery? (Read 420 times)

Hi all, I have a ganglion cyst on the top of my foot that I plan on having removed surgically in the next week or so and I know I'll have a week or two of recovery time for healing where I won't be able to walk or walk/run. It's bumming me out because I've just started to get into shape via walking and walk/run sessions so I'm sure I'll lose some fitness gains. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get in a little cardio workout while I'm recovering? I've considered hitting the gym (which i hate) for the rowing machine and just using my upper body, but I'm wondering if anyone has other suggestions? I suppose I could just be patient and wait it out but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
