please share your thoughts on what I should do.
I am a mediocre, real hobbyist speedskater and I'd love to skate a HM just like the previous year, but due to bad weather and health issues I could only do about half of the distance/time than I did last year during the last 3 months. The race is at the end of March - of course I can skip it but I don't like the idea. It is right in the middle of my base building period (long, slow, distance, setting up for the summer) so nothing serious happens if I skip it but I really enjoyed it last year.
What should I do now?
a) panic
b) forget
c) train ultra hard the upcoming 10 days
d) train light
Thanks
