I ran a HM on May 18 and did a PR. I started running again on the following Tuesday and noticed some left knee IT Band issues. Ran easy but the pain lingered. Last week I was forced to stop running due to some GI issues. Net result 5 days off running. I am hoping to beging the PF 18/55 starting next week for a Marathon on Oct 12.
My question, I have been doing daily stretching and teh GI issues are resolved and the knee feels about 95%, how much running should I do this week so I can start the program next week? I was considering, assuming the knee feels fine:
T W TH Fr S S
4 5 4 3 4 8-10
These are miles and they would all be done at an easy pace.

you are coming off an injury or some soreness that stopped you from running
You have been a 3-5 days a week runner... and you asking if it is ok to go to 6 days a week
You have been running inconsistently between 13-30 miles a week... looks like 22 is your average based on last 2 month totals... or there abouts... and you want to increase to 28-30
I would say drop the friday run to bring you back to 5 days a week.
If you get run down... then pack 2 days rest in there.
Just my opinion but you know your body, and what you can handle. Adding miles was easier for me than adding another day.
