Bosu vs Sissel (or similar brands) balance trainers - merits and differences. (Read 577 times)

I am sorta afraid to post following the last "HRM" thread Wink ..... but here goes anyway. Anyone use "Bosu" or "Sissel" balance trainers? Seems like a good idea, the two brands listed seem to use somewhat different approaches, at least in design. Are there pros or cons to each, (I assume yes, but would be interested in a comparison.) Bosu seems a lot more expensive, if it gives a better workout maybe that is okay..... (and there is no way am I going ask about "Medicine balls")

I can't compare the two, but I use a BOSU at my physical therapist's office, and wish it didn't cost so much. My gym has reebok balance boards, which aren't great, and at home I use a foam roller cut in half. Neither is a great replacement for the BOSU.
