Not sure if this is the right forum section for this post, but here is an interesting NY Times article on one of the Boston Marathon survivors, Jeff Bauman.

    Feeling the growl again

Thanks for posting.  His experience makes me sad and angry.  His life has been complicated far beyond just the physical injury for no good reason.

Thanks for posting this. Good article. We don't live in a perfect society, but when I read about people around Boston paying for his meals and drinks, the money pouring in to him, his girlfriend sticking by his side, and see those final pics of him beginning to walk again on those advanced prosthetic limbs, I feel proud about we the people in this country. I finished the article feeling hopeful for him that he'll make a good life for himself, despite the challenge of his legs and hearing loss.

I live in the Boston area and he has been very inspirational to many of us. Ironically I went to a game in Seattle yesterday and met a guy wearing a shirt with his name on it.
