I think the simpler the better (like Nike, like Champion, ...), but if we wanted to throw some words in there, there are 3 phrases on the RA home page which have some appeal: "Train. Analyze. Improve.", "Achieving goals through better information", and "What motivates you?"
Has anybody mentioned color? The logo design needs to consider the shirt's color, or it may not show up that well. Also, there may need to be different logo color schemes depending on the shirt color (e.g., what will work on on blue shirt may not work on a white shirt).
