Another RWOL refugee. I haven't really posted at all since January, but some will know me as Amanda in ATL. I changed my screen name when I moved to Chicago a few months ago.

When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run.  The only thing that matters is how we have loved.

I changed my username from Just4Kix to BexKix about the time I stopped posting very often over there.

              Welcome, new peeps.

BTW: if looking for advice in a thread it's always best to reveal your running log: helps with context.  You can find it under the "options" button on the top right of the screen.

RW refugees...please adopt the following mantra:

Run a lot, mostly easy, sometimes fast

RA is, at its heart, a running log. Built by a runner, and through great fortune shared with other runners.

There is a vibrant running community here of great experience and guidance.  They have lifted me when I was smashed, they have chastised me when I was lazy, they have shared the experience of 10,000 miles in one paragraph of concentrated wisdom and saved me from many self-taught mistakes.

Share your story via your running log. And Welcome.

I think I am gonna take the Hanson's approach this winter so I may not follow that mostly easy part.

We shall see how it goes.

                        Greetings!

Sigh, it seems so simple.  I think for myself I would have to add the Zeroth Law:  Get off your ass!

Thanks for the welcome RA peeps! And hi to all the other RW refugees.

I try to follow that mantra, and am working at logging runs. Is there any way to download from Garmin Connect?

Well, off to VT for Thanksgiving. Will be back once we're up there. So much to explore (and I will find the donate button, don't mind getting ads). I'll check out the masters group - at 59 I guess I'm more than qualified.

                                Not if it makes sense.
