Running in very hot weather (Read 541 times)

I've become a big believer in this. I made the mistake of running in the heat all last summer to train for an 11 mile race in the autumn. Now i realize that I would have gotten fitter by running more volume on an indoor treadmill.

When you said you would have been fitter, is the reason because you would have ran more indoor?  Or would you have ran faster indoors?  I'm just curious because I plan to run outdoors to train for my cross country season.

OT: Hot weather running sucks.  Personally, I like 50-60 degree running.
