Went to the expo today to pick up bib, goody bag and t-shirt. Was disappointed that the t-shirt was cotton. This is my third half marathon this year,the most expensive and so far the only one that doesn't give a technical t-shirt. Sad

I can understand getting cotton t-shirts on small 5K's and smaller local races, but as big as this one is, it is quite disappointing. By the way, anyone else running this race Sunday?

Welcome to an event managed by Elite. They aren't known for their shirts. Sorry. (That said, when technical shirts are well made, they are great. But I'd rather get a cotton t-shirt I can wear anywhere than a *crappy* tech shirt which isn't good for running and isn't good for wearing around. And lots of the tech shirts I get from races lately are kind of crappy)
