got me some newtons! (Read 745 times)

They now sell these at my local running store. I'd been eying them for a long time, and now that I was able to try them on, I had to get them. Very excited to see how they feel. (I got the motion model)

So far, so good. I've only run three times, but those three times have been the least painful runs I've had in as long as I can remember. That could be a combo of a bunch of factors (easing into shape without increasing mileage, not running too often, etc.). They are incredibly light and seem to be pushing me to go faster than I otherwise would (I have to try harder to slow down). Hopefully this keeps up, because I really like them.

I love those fig newtons... mmm making me hungry.
