Len,
I took your advice and started a thread there.
Here is the address:

We'll see how it goes!

Bertha, I live north of Toronto, Canada, and the race in April is the Hartwell Half in Aurora, Ontario, a nice little town just south of whee I live.
A very hilly course, so I'm not expecting to be any quicker than my first half which I ran in Toronto in October.

I have also joined the half marathon user group, (and the Masters since I am 57 next month).

Simon.
"Old" is not another word for "slow".

Hey guys!

Mary and WBertha, I'm in Iowa and yep. It was so cold earlier this week! It's warmer now, but still windy. Yowza!

I'm coming off of a hip injury, so am still running slow and for small distances. But my goal is to work back up to a decent base before trying out a HM training plan this spring.

Happy Friday!

Slow and steady wins the race means a lot of fast people pass you.
