I dunno, but "a gps" isn't striking me as something a middle school xc kid wants. (foodstamps or not)

Also agree with Jeff. None of the HS runners I'm associated with care at all about wearing a GPS watch. As Jeff said, it's for middle-aged folks who are in the "tinker with stuff" stage of life. Guilty.

Yup I'm the parent of an over-privileged h.s. freshman runner and she doesn't even care about a watch, let alone a GPS. None of her runner friends do either.
