With no way to subscribe to forum threads, and no notification of replies to your comments, it can be pretty tough to see if someone has responded in a thread you're interested in. Right now, I guess you can carefully watch the 'last post' date and time which is displayed for each topic. However, I think it would be really useful to have the user name of the last post, too. This is already in place for each entire forum, but not on a per-topic basis. Seems like it would be a rather simple thing, much easier than putting infrastructure in place for notifications or thread subscriptions.
