doing San Francisco, July 26, Goal is 4:20 or so. This will be my 2nd marathon. My first, and PR I suppose, was completed in 4:50 last October.
Coming off injury recently, I'm thrilled at how training has gone so far. I've got a 16, 17, and 18 miler in under my belt in this training cycle. Lower mileage coming up this week, and then the final push and mileage peak the week after - I'm still cautious about relapsing injury so I'll temper intensity this week and keep it "regular". The heat and humidity down here has made training interesting. Not sure I'll look to do another summer marathon for a while. Still, very excited about this marathon so that keeps me going.
Thanks for this thread.

Thanks again!
I have a lot on my planned on my schedule for this fall, but haven't actually registered for anything yet. I'm sticking to trails for a while. The two in bold are my goal races for the fall, the others are really "training" runs.
