Did this a couple years ago. It's beautiful!

Hey Buckeye,
For logistical reasons, I had to opt out of the 12 Hour Ultra this week and step down to the marathon. I may try the Stone Cat 50 in Ipswich, MA in the Fall. Here's my update for now.
Runner Race Date Type Goal Curr PR # Note
jpdeaux 24 Hr Around the Lake 07/24/09 Mara 3:18 3:21 20 Early run @ 3:18, but what the hell, I've run every day for 2 months so I might as well take advantage.
And I'm still on for Bay State in October.
mta: A very satisfying result of 3:16, a PR by almost 6 minutes. 3rd AG, 12 OA.
Matt.
How do you spell orange?
Could you please add this one to the list. I've decided to "race" this one after all:
Right now, I'm not planning to PR at this race (since you never know what August will be like in Chicago), but I'll see how I feel come next weekend.
Meanwhile, I am officially in training mode for the Chicago Marathon, having starting the Pfitz 12/85+ program. Still hoping for sub 3:00, but I'll make a more firm decision about my goal after my half marathon in September.
PRs: 5K--18:11 (June 2009), 8K--30:02 (March 2011), 10K--38:38 (April 2009), 10 Mile--1:01:59 (May 2011), HM--1:23:16 (March 2010), MAR--3:04:14 (April 2010)
Finishing the GJCC Tri
fitness/weight goals for 2012…1) STAY INJURY FREE!!!2) Get to 210 lbs by the end of April...and stay there 3) Break 1:55 in a half marathon (current PR 1:57:35)
4) Complete Branson 70.3 (goal 6:30)5) 2,850 total miles for the year
Swim: 100 miles
Bike: 1,500 miles
Run: 1,250 miles
Also, I think you should add a column between “Goal” and “Curr P/R” for the actual finishing times. People can then post their actual finish time and you can update the “master list”. Might be interesting to see people's goal vs actual times.
I would love that, but due to large response, getting the amount of data is getting hard. Server would not allow an extra column (tried as you suggested), If the table is too complex/large it will not save the post. For time being I am updating Actuals in the Notes column.
As it is, I had to dump the summary table, with the last few additional rows of runners this week was tipping Server back to the "Unable to Save Post" response.

Congrats on the great race .. especially after the late change of focus .... Good Job
Week 3 was a good week with a couple good races in the bag. I have updated some times based on what I have seen on other posts and/or spying on logs.
If anyone chooses not to have their times posted please just shoot me a note..... We are all in this together so no matter the outcome, the fact that you toed the line makes it a successful run.
Good Job last week runners!
NeedaCleverName (That is Begging a RA "Name that NeedaClevername" Contest ... hmmmm.) is the sole runner up this week..... Good Luck.
A "NeedACleverName" contest?? I could imagine a few good ones...LOL!
Still reconsidering if I want to make this a training run or if I want to try for a new PR, though I think it might be tough. I'll see what the weather forecast looks like as we get closer to Sunday.

Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

I've been MIA, even on running. My darn ankle injury has just friggin snowballed, and my docs have me on a new medication for an unrelated problem that has totally gotten my routines screwed up (and makes my heart race, so I can't do much more than a minimal effort).
Take me off the list. I'm likely deferring MCM until 2010 and DNSing steamtown. Better safe than sorry, so I'll just focus on getting back into things slowly, aiming an hour a day starting tomorrow and rebuilding so I can do a fall 'thon next year.
