I ran my last segment this morning (8:30 am) before it got too hot (still in the 80s, though). I was surprised how good I felt - my legs weren't that heavy, I kept a steady pace, and I completed the 3.1 miles in under 31 minutes which means I broke a 10mm pace. That was a bonus because I wasn't really trying to do that, but I did.

When I was done, I was pretty tired, but after a couple minutes of cool down walking, I felt like I could've run some more. This stuff is great.
2008 Goals:
Complete C25K | Complete One Hour Runner
Run a 5k - PR - 26:19 | Run a 10k - PR - 59:58
Run 15-20 MPW
Run a 5k in under 30:00
Weigh 187 lbs (Started at 207, now 186!)
Time for new goals!

Congratulations Yapper! Cool

Running IS too cool isn't it? Take it nice and slow, and select your next training program to build your base miles, and the fun will only continue and get better!

Rest up and stay cool!!

Good stuff! Sounds like you've caught the running bug alright. Best of luck with your race and your training. Keep it fun and don't push for speed yet. My 2 cents.

Awesome job! The C25K program is the best! I'm a graduate and I have my DH on the program right now. Cool

Please be sure to post a race report after you finish your first 5K. Beware though... if you think you're hooked on running now, wait until you start racing!!!
