Given my example the number would not be significant. The number of cals would decrease if the heart rate was lower and the body weight remained the same. If the same person also lost weight the total number of cals would be lower from that aspect as well. A 200 lb runner running at 8 minute pace for an hour burns more calories than a 160 pound runner running the same pace with the same heart rate. Make sense?
