Ran 15 miles this morning - my longest run since I was diagnosed with posterior tibial tendonitis!  Whoo hoo!

I ran my longest run in 3 and a half years.

I just had to see if I could do a half marathon distance run within a month of starting running regularly again.

It was not easy in the end but I did it.!!!!!

        Run more.

Congrats. But, why so fast? 9:49 pace. Your 10k paces are around 10:20 and you logged it as an easy run.

Run until the trail runs out.

             Hi

I did not look at my pace - I just ran by what was feeling easy. The change in pace from previous weeks is most likely due to todays (and yesterdays ) run being in Frankfurt (flat) while the runs in the previous 3 weeks was at my inlaws place in Spain which is very hilly.

I logged is as an easy run because I think everything I do at the moment (while ramping up weekly distance) is at a pace I feel is easy - I never in this phase push myself to run faster than what I feel i easy pace.

Maybe it should be in category "long run", but since I am not in a plan with specific different goals for each run (now every run has as a goal to add to my mileage, nothing else) I classify them all (except one or two which vere surprisingly hilly) as easy runs. I don't know if you follow me.

Later when I pick a race I will get a plan where each run has a different purpose and I plan to run and log them accordingly.

But thanks for responding :-) seriously.

Nice job everyone!  Today I ran a 5K inside Yankee Stadium with 2 laps around the warning track....it was awe-inspiring!

Ok, I'm no Yankee fan, but that sounds really damn cool.  The closest I get in these parts is a half marathon that includes the warning track of our local AAA team (Tacoma Rainiers).

                  Woohoo!

Not a Yankee fan, but that does sound cool.  They have a race here in Boston that finishes in Fenway park but I didnt run because the fundraising was too hight.

I'm going with the marathon that finishes around the warning track at a local Minor Leage team this Fall.

I like that two of us (so far) felt the need to point out that we aren't Yankee fans.

                        Hahahahaha.

...and I would like to point out that the Royals beat the Yankees. Twice! And the Royals SUCK!

I'm not a Yankee fan either but they had a 10K finish in Gillette Stadium last month. Probably this was just a ploy to get people to spend money at Patriot Place.

Today, I ran the hardest workout I've ever run! 12x400 at around 70-71 a lap, with only 55 seconds rest in between each!! Then I switched shoes and did at pretty quick 800, 2:28.
