Do you have a running mantra? (Read 735 times)

    My husband taught me a good one that helped him get through his first marathon: "Shoulders relaxed...breathe. Form and style..smile!" It's always the "smile" that makes me feel the best. When I am into hill repeats in training, I find myself chanting to my footsteps: "Who's tough? I am! Who's the bomb? I am!" and trying to see if I can come up with a different one each time till I get to the top!
    1000 mile club. "Pain is just the weakness leaking out."
