What is the age cut off for the girls club? 18? 21? Because I think I may be too old.

I would consider buying a running skirt if they werent all pink (OK, there is a black one, but they say it runs large, so if I normally need an XS) and didnt all say "girl." I think when an adult runs a marathon "woman" is a more appropriate term. Oh, and they are much more expensive than my shorts - even on sale!

But that is just me fighting the wrong battles. We need a female-equivalent for guy, and gal just doenst do it.
How I feel these days... This helps too!

Pearl Izumi makes a number of skirt/short alternatives that come in colors other than pink. http://www.pearlizumi.com/product.php?mode=view&product_id=792460&type_id=2&sport_id=3&category_id=2&color_code=3AK

I've seen quite a few by Brooks that are all black and uber cute as well. If you have any questions about the Pearl Izumi stuff, you can email me at LLindley at Nautilus dot com.

My favorite running shorts are a pair of yoga shorts I bought at a local thrift shop. I'm a little worried about when they are ready for the trash since I'll have to figure out where to buy that exact kind at, and I have no idea of where that could be.

And they're on clearance (look on overstock). Cheaper than Target--I just hope that they stay where they are supposed to stay when you're running. We'll find out--I just ordered 2.

They do look cute. I wonder what the short underneath is like, though. Most of them don't stay put on me, so I have found that the ones with briefs/"bunhuggers" underneath work better.

Oh, yeah, I'm gonna have to get into this locker room. Did you see that RunningSkirts has a Mother's Day/ Spring Fling 50% off sale?

Can you email me the password? It's vixidu@yahoo.com. Thanks!

MTA: RunningSkirts.com has "teen" sizes that might work for ya, Abba, and theirs are definitely not all pink!

Can I join the girls? I would love to be somewhere where I can discuss how my running routes have changed now that Matthew McConnoughey supposedly bought a condo near me.

When I was in Austin, I read that he has a trailer right off Barton Springs Road. It was tempting to go run through the trailer park!

It looks like the LLR is going to get bigger - cool! It is a lot of fun in there.
