Your profile says you're an engineer. I have yet to meet one that was in any way skeery. Dorky, yes, skeery...no. Unless Dilbert strikes fear in anyone's heart. Wink

I so agree! My husbands an engineer-- a little dorky, mostly sweet but not an ounce of lurky.

Zoom Zoom and Jenn, Darn it, stero typed again! But I gave up the pocket protector and assorted gear a long time ago. Now the gang in the office just think I'm nuts because I love my running. They'll ask how far I ran last night and I'll say only 5 miles or only 6.5 miles and their reply is "ONLY".

Hey, that's why I'm down to the low 150s and they are all overweight. (151 this morning down from 175 a year ago)

Hey, while I'm at it, While I was a site that I go to www.soffe.com, I paid more attention to the women's stuff there and so that they had some running skirts with panties, skorts I think they were called. Thought some of you ladies might be interested in it.

Darn, when I try to view their product line I get a blank page...tried 2 browsers and didn't have any luck. I'll check that again later. I know I have seen Soffe stuff at TJ Maxx in the past and it looks pretty nice.

Heh, speaking of Engineers...there's a reason I call my brother and hubby both "enginerds."

Kirsten - Zoom-Zoom

I just tired it to make sure it was the correct site and it loaded up fine for me. http://www.soffe.com/
Sometimes (often) my work site blocks a lot of sites.

Enginerds huh, not bad! God what does that really make me with my co-workers thinking I'm a Nerd because of my running! Am I then a Super Enginerd?

Yeah, that's the site I tried...I only had problems when I tried to view their product line. The index page works, for some reason.

If you are Super Enginerd, then did must be Omnipotent Enginerd, since he's a cyclist and wears lots of spandex. Tongue

Did you get a chance to try the web site again. I tried it at home and it loaded okay.

Spandex is good providing one looks okay to put into it. Some people who wear it, must not own a mirror. Reminds me of a commercial on TV, I think it's for Expedia. The family is on vacation and the wife is nagging the husband about the Expedia stuff that appears as a Helo over his head. She tells him it better be gone by the time she gets back from her exercise class and then stand ups and is wearing a spandex outfit, multi colored, funny headband (or something) etc etc. The kids are just rolling their eyes as she walks away.

Just got my first running skirt and I love it! I just got back into running 5 weeks ago after my 27th birthday (my hubbie and my boxer, Izzi, are both runners), and it was my gift to myself for not giving up!

ZoomZoom - Any chance I could also get the password for the Ladies Locker Room???

I wear the Mizuno Mustang short. Its the perfect length (about 3.5 inches) and has pockets you can fit your gels in. The best part is that other shots bounce and I an feel the gels but I don't notice with these. My friend prefers longer and wears Mizunos Ascend short. Cute colors too! Black and Pink!
