Hi guys, I have decided to leave this group. I am still not running and trying to clean up my group list. I originally recommended a 1000 Km (metric) equivalent to the 1000 mile club, so I got designated the owner. However, I never read here and dont follow. Please post if you want to be the next moderator. It doesnt take any work if you dont want it to. But I would rather someone volunteer rather than just designate someone.

Gayle, I saw this and had to respond. I grew up in Owosso and lived there for 22 years (until I graduated from college). My mom, dad, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles still live there.

Small world. I really liked living in Owosso. We lived in a new quiet section...what am I talking about...Owosso was nice and quiet. The schools for the kids were a bit bigger then I liked but all was good. I don't remember the school the kids went to but I do remember we lived on Clyde which was only about 4 or 5 blocks from the school. We moved back to Kansas in 1985 toward my folks. We visited back there in 2004 and I didn't think it had changed all that much but when we visited family back closer to Flushing and Davison I thought there was tons more traffic then I remembered. Small world, indeed! Do youget back there very often?

Not so much anymore. Last visit was four years ago. But we do plan to visit next summer, and when me kids get older and are more travel-friendly, we'll probably go back more often.

Gayle and Jeff, sorry for taking 5 months to respond With the new posts today, I read the old one I missed. I live in Oxford and work in Flint - drive past Davison most every day. I have friends in Owosso but don't get there too often.
