It is with a sad heart that I bid this group farewell. My pursuit for the 1000 mile year is over after I had a heart to heart with my calculator. To cover nearly 43 miles a week on average for the rest of the year would put my body at risk, considering that I was out for a few months with an injury. So I'm leaving this group for the more realistic 1000km (621 mile) group. I'll be back next year.

I have no doubt that you will, too! As much as I would like to see 1500 this year, my calculator also tells me that it's not gonna happen without me being very unwise in my training. Hope the rest of your running year goes well and you get off to a great start on 1k miles for next year! Smile
