I just noticed you showed up on page 1...and don't you have a hurt hammy??? You be careful. I have cut my mileage since my marathon but I am planning to finish this 1000 by Dec

Hooray! Page 1. I'm finally there. The hamstring has calmed down mostly. Yesterday it was a bit naggy, and during tonight's run it was a bit worse. I'll take off tomorrow and run slowly all weekend. I'm trying to be sensible about it, but I'm a runner. You know how that goes. I'm at 899.7 miles now. Even my wife told me I should just go run around the block one time to get to 900, but I resisted the urge, opting for an ice pack instead. I'm going to stick to around 30 miles per week, so it looks like we won't be crossing the finish line hand in virtual hand, but I won't be far behind. Yay, Crabby! Yay, me! and yay for everybody else chasing their goals! We rock.

Actually at 30 miles per week (you) and 20 miles/week (me) you are so going to pass me! Dang!! Lets just see how competitive I get with a virtual runner right behind me sort of close of Xmas day. I am going to have to sneak out on Xmas a get some miles in. great job though keeping up with those goals. I am going to stick with 1000 miles next year and my real goal is to get faster. Today I ran sub 8s for a 5K and I am so psyched!

Thanks...I am less than 5 miles from the 50 mile mark and I see Gig is putting in some good miles.
