Almost there! (Read 268 times)

I'm next in line to graduate to 1,000 miles for now unless someone has been saving up a bunch of miles to log.  If I stay with my training plan I'll hit it the end of next week!

Pretty amazing considering last year was my first year to ever consistently run at all and I logged 262.2 miles last year and was really proud of that.

Need to put in a good week to lock in my 100+ miles this month for the 7th month in a row, but I'll make it pretty easy based on my training plan if nothing goes crazy.

I was worried that I would fall behind during the fall this year during hunting season, but my big hunt is over and I'm still on pace for 1,200 miles.  I still may miss a long run or two on the weekends, but I think I still have a good chance to knock out 1,200 this year.

We both should graduate this week. I probably will be finishing 1000 during my long run this weekend. Pretty amazing since I haven't  run in years before January and considering that I had a stent put in last December.

Okay, I have a 5 mile tempo run planned tomorrow that will put me up to 997, so looks like I will hit 1,000 about halfway through my planned easy run on Thursday morning.

Kind of appropriate to hit it in the middle of a regular easy run in the middle of the week.

Really couldn't have imagined putting in this many miles even a year ago. I would have told you that you were nuts if you said this time next year you will have run 1,000 miles!

Just input my runs from the last week. I passed the 1,000 mile mark at the end of my 20 mile long run on Sunday. Like some of you 2011 was not a good year. Training for 3 marathons in 2012 helped keep me focused.

Yeah!!! Think I will go for a run.

Skipped the morning run since a cold front was blowing in and the wind was out of the north at 29 mph and gusting so I ended up getting my 1,000th mile in on the treadmill this evening.  Not the most awe inspiring way to log your 1,000th mile, but a committed one.

Hopefully this will be just the start of many years to come with 1,000+ miles!

I jumped into 3rd in line to graduate.  I'm one of the renegade newbs from RWOL but I've always kept my log here so once I joined the group I jumped to "almost finished".

Look forward to next year.  Hello Everyone  Cool

Have been using the log here for well over a year, I came over with RWOL also, I need 102 miles to hit my first 1,000, gonna be so close.

Me too! I will make it this year.  Last year this time, I still had 70 to go,  but I did it.  Easier this year.  Next year I need to increase my goal.
