How many miles per day/week is that bunny going to log? I have to get psyched up to beat that wabbit. Smile

I think someone had said that the average mileage/week would be around 19. That's about perfect. I should be able to do 15-25mpw most of the time...I think. Big grin k

      Now that was a bath...

Well anything else that motivates me to 'up the miles' is a good thing right! At the moment I am not making 19+ a week but I think this might be the first week that I succeed at that and we still have a few weeks left to go before the counting starts right! Plus with my planned marathon next October I have lot's of extra motivation to keep moving. Claire xxx

The bunny will cover 19.2 miles a week (1000 miles / 52 weeks). The trick to all this, I think, is consistency and perseverance. You could start with only 10 miles a week and up your mileage by 5% every other week and beat the bunny at the finish line. Or starting at 10 miles a week and upping your mileage by 1 mile per week every other week will also get you there first. The trick is running each one of those weeks and not get injured by adding too many miles too fast. In that first scenario you'll be running behind the bunny until the week before last. Oh, wow, that's totally doable for just about everyone. Lately I have had a hard time getting much above 15 miles/week (now that I'm sick I fear that this week will only be ~13). That plan leaves a lot of room for bad weeks. k
