Nobody has caught xhristopher even though he didn’t move a muscle last month (hope your healing well).

Well, not on foot, anyhow.
X, hope you're recovering well. Any word on the new bike?

X hows it going?
last month as i was away a lot i couldn't get access to a bike so i nearly ran more miles than i cycled
Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.
No change with the running. Dr said not to try until October but the inflammation never goes away with rest. I'm not sure rest matters. I took 4 weeks off after my July crash and ended up gaining two pounds a week while self medicating myself with ice cream and beer. Even that didn't reduce the inflammation. It was impressive just how quickly I can gain weight. I guess I was drinking good beer. Fortunately I'm back to swimming and cycling and hope to reverse that trend.
Still waiting to hear back from Cannondale regarding warranting the cracked frame so I can get a serviceable road bike this fall. The crashed bike won't be replaced until next spring at the earliest. I plan to get something nice. My only bike right now is my 97 Bontrager so I stole the rear wheel from my DW's mountain bike, mounted a slick on it, and now have something to ride on my trainer.
