        Idiot

Feel free to leave this out if it's not applicable to a full-on "racing" thread:

Relay for Life, May 30-31: participating in the 18-hour event as a one-man team (some running, mostly walking... like I said above).

          Goal: 72 miles

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

Say hello and congratulations to Scott for me.  Are you going to race in the tuxedo shirt?

For myself, no plans this week past the Wednesday night Weekly Back Cove Series run here in Portland.  If my wife comes to the run then I'll do the 5k with her at her pace (25-28 minutes would be my guess); if not, then I'll still probably run it relatively slow, although it'll probably be around 20-22 minutes or so.

My legs are still a bit tired from Pineland Farms and I don't feel any need to run fast right now.

Muddy Buddy race.  Not sure what to expect.  Goal is to get muddy with my buddy (wife) and maybe win the male/female age group thingy.  Whatever that means.

                Thunder smash!

First 100k trail race.  I would LOVE to finish in 13-14 hours however I'll be more than happy to just finish Smile

I think I am doing this same race and it is my first 100K attempt as well.  I read your 50 mile report from Viaduct and think you are much more prepared than I am for Saturday.

100K, South Mountain 100K, NJ, goal is to finish.
