Yeah, I'm trying to figure out which html table tags this forum accepts! I'm open to any tips!

National Marathon. Shooting for a 10 minute PR and a 3:30. AmoresPerros is pacing me so I can't fail. MTA: Shangen needs a new time goal. She already blasted through 2 hours.
I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.

              Fixed.
I checked dgb2n's PRs. "Shooting for a 10 minute PR and a 3:30." Those two don't quite match up, so I assumed the lower of the two goals and re-fixed. Tongue

I was rounding. I'll be stoked with either of those two times.

                Hey, nice marmot!

National Marathon, DC. Not sure about a time, really just trying to survive. Sorry, what I meant to say is that I plan on running a "tactical" race in order to evaluate the effects of my revolutionary 4-month taper. However, with the significant requisite reduction in training miles, I don't believe it prudent to attempt anything significantly faster than 4:30.

Hey, if you want to race like a maniac, you gotta be ready to blow up like a maniac... How did you feel during and after your 1/2 last weekend? Although after reviewing your log it appears you put on quite a bit of weight in the last day. That may slow you up some. Wink

actually I wasn't. I was just curious why 6 seconds? I have no idea how people determine their goal times - I'm just an idiot trying to learn. Blush

Good luck with that. Have you been injured?

I got sick during my taper. 20 miler 3 weeks out was half at easy pace, back half at 7:45 pace (MP - 15 seconds). 15 miler 2 weeks out. Log looks a ilttle anemic, I know. I think I built on my fitness last fall and have a shot at it. We'll see. MTA: I still don't feel quite 100% after a pretty nasty, Trent-induced chest cold. I'm hoping I'll continue to improve between now and race day. That and AmoresPerros is pacing me so I can't fail.
