Yeah. My phone took a hit at mile 38 yesterday. It works. Kinda.

Ha! Memphis has 42 right now. That number seems to haunt me...

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

Ha. I forgot about that. I was kinda zoned out at the time.

I saw it fall. Your phone just about exploded. Pretty cool.

It was weird not seeing you at 5:00 am this morning.

Good weird.

Dude are you gonna give me your email address or not? I forgot it.

And jeremy took over our old email account so if you email me send it to: removed my email because Trent made me aware that there were spammers on his Trenternet

So Obsessor (or anyone else who'd like to tell me besides Casa- he breaks legs doing these sorts of things)... how would you suggest I go about these next few weeks before CMM if I DO decide to do it? Do I do another long run? Do I taper? This is scary as shit.

Anyway...

Hey Casa, since i've already insulted you... wanna hit up some nice soft running surfaces next week? You have broken legs, I have a broken heart. It's probably a good match.

So in case you guys thought this thread turned into something besides my little pity party... i'm just throwing this question back out there since i've only gotten one answer.

ahem...

I am a week into a 27-day marathon plan. You could modify it for a 21-day marathon plan. How beat up are you? Was it like a 17 mile MP run and then a jog/walk? What do you think you need for recovery?

Yep, that's pretty much a description of it right there.

I don't know what I need yet. I'm sore now. But not marathon sore. I can walk up and down stairs. Usually can't do that very well after a marathon. I was gonna be safe and try not to do any running until the weekend or like, Thursday.

I'll swim though, probably starting tomorrow, and maybe get on my bike and spin easy. That'll keep the fitness up. Swimming always seemes to help my muscle soreness too.

Well, I'm off to a good start. yes to the low impact running surfaces next week. Actually a MAYBE. My pace for my first runs in like six weeks could be embarrassingly slow compared to you......and painfully slow for you Wink

the dude sitting on one side of my shoulder would tell you to run the full at CMM. the dude that recently showed up on the other side is saying no. Confused

Lemmee catch up on what everybody else thinks.
