You've been to Fargo? I am so sorry. Fargo is a place no one should have to go. Oh, you must have lost a bet or something?

Yeah, I did my time in Fargo.......5 years at NDSU to be exact. I went back there for last year's marathon, on purpose! It really is a helluva event and you should put it on your list if you haven't already run it.

He's from ND.

He talks like those people in that movie.

What movie?

Come across any cool medals lately?

The movie was Fargo. It is rated GETM.

Yes Casa, Trivia is tonight. Jeff is a maybe, I have no clue about Trent, Candie hasn't said anything, and Zimmer is coming and bringing a couple people. I may have a few guys I work with join us too.

I can't go, school is over, but I take a triathlon class on Tuesday nights now from Steve Taylor. I'm only going for the swim tonight though....

Plus I can't face people that know what happened to me on Sunday. Not yet Wink

Nice. You took my points with great style.

As far as the movie Fargo goes, I refuse to watch it because of people like Candice who equate being from there with the movie and talking with oh's and ah's. A lot of people bring up the movie, therefore, I boycotted it.

I'm sure its good though.

When you swim, how far and for how long?

Depends. Right now i'm supposed to be swimming anywhere from 30 mins to an hr and 1/2 2-3 times a week but i've only been doing the minimum since I was tapering for St. Louis. The plan was to do the max after the race this week but now i'm doing CMM so I don't know. If I think the workout was worth it, I log it, if I don't, I don't log it.

I'm mostly still trying to work on my technique too. I panic from time to time. It's just something random that happens when my head is under water.

It was hard for me to stop keeping up with "how far" I go... because i'm a runner and we judge things by distance... i'm just trying to spend as much time as I can in the water. I don't shoot for a certain distance just yet.

I am a week into a 27-day marathon plan. You could modify it for a 21-day marathon plan. How beat up are you? Was it like a 17 mile MP run and then a jog/walk? What do you think you need for recovery?

Got a 5 day plan?

It gets easier Candice. If you can, find a stroke clinic to attend. As you are discovering swimming is about 99% technique. I was fortunate enough to go to stroke clinics by Shaun Jordan (Olympic medalist swimmer from Texas). With just a few tweaks (no pun intended) he sorted me out big time.

Well, yes.

But I still need a 5 day plan. If anybody has any brilliant insight, speak up. Or just post pictures Globule's mom. Both are good.

I think if you talk about his mom enough, he'll magically appear. It's like saying 'Biggie Smalls' 3 times in front of a mirror. Same principle.

Ha! I just pulled a JK and snarfed Coke Zero through my nose. Nice.
