    Idiot

I'm considering a solo mile time trial on Friday. I'd be shooting for a PR (currently 6:28).

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

I'm running the Papa John's 10 Miler in Louisville, Ky. on 4-11-09. As for a goal, I'm not really racing this one; instead, I'm running it with my wife and am treating it as a run-up to a marathon later this month. In that vein, I suppose my goal is to chivalrously finish 1 second behind my wife. Wink
“I used to be a runner. Uh-huh. Not a marathoner. A runner. Marathons are bullshit. They’re all hype. Some official picks a random day, and rain or cold, you’re out there pounding the pavement alongside 50,000 other dumbfucks. No. There’s some things it’s better to do all by yourself.” Augustus Hill, Oz
Good Times 5K tomorrow night in Lowell, MA. 17:45 I guess.

          Runners run.

            Moosic City 10k, Apr 11. 33:30ish.
Moosic City 10K too. A PR would be nice (sub 46:21). Sub-46:00 would be nicer.
Moosic City 10k, Apr 11. Win.
Moosic City 10K too. A PR would be nice (sub 46:21). Sub-46:00 would be nicer. Beating Trent's 45:30 Tom King HM 10k split is the real goal.
I will race somewhere .... at some distance. I haven't decided what yet.

                  Thunder smash!

Don't flatter yourself, Trenty-poo. I totally ran under 45:30 for the 10k last year at Tom King.

In it for the long run..

Moosic City 10K- April 11- Time TBD on Saturday (see how the training week goes and what the weather is). Goal is to win or place in age group.

I'm in the business of misery...

                          Illinois Marathon, April 11th. 2:29:59.
                          Oh snap!

                          Thunder smash!

                            Moosic City 10k, Apr 11. 33:30ish.
Isn't this the ice cream race?

                            Runners run.

Yep. I might have to run faster than 33:30. Yes, I'd also like to win. But I'd also like to keep training for my marathon and my training has been going shitty, plus there's the locusts and all that.
                                Illinois Marathon, April 11th. 2:29:59.
                                Godspeed.
