a marathon... 3:50
I don't have my traveling plans firmed up... so I don't know which one...
does that count???
On My Horse
Thursday Night Under the Lights
5k
Manchester, CT
July 30th
It is on the track and the comp should be decent, so I am hoping to go under 17:30.

I fly.
August 2 - Shaloma Hadassah 5k in Atlantic City, NJ (on the boardwalk) - goal - beat last year's time (so faster than 25:43).
MTA: My other goal: Don't almost get run over by a bread truck (that happened last year).
Bring it on.
Shaloma Hadassah
You have got to be kidding.
In Nashville, of course, they would hold the run on Saturday.
Not that they would hold this in Nashville.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Don't almost get run over by a bread truck (that happened last year).
Was it unleavened? If so...actually my irono-meter just malfunctioned.
Either way, not getting hit by a bread truck is an admirable goal.
Blaine Moore (MM#2867)
August 1 - Beach to Beacon 10k - Cape Elizabeth, Maine - 33:30...
Oh wait, I just broke my foot and can't run. Dammit.
I should probably let the race director know he has an open spot to give away a local elite number to somebody else.

a marathon... 3:50 I don't have my traveling plans firmed up... so I don't know which one... does that count???
I say that putting up the numeric goal is what matters here.
PS: I got no races this week, which is weird, having done some 40+ races this calendar year. I think I could get to like this feeling of not having a race.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Grasshopper
Thursday 7/30 - Adult Mile at the Kids Summer Track Series. Milford, CT - Goal 7:30 or better
Sunday 8/2 - Walnut Beach Ice Cream 5K, Milford, CT - Goal sub 27
And Jelly - good to see "some 'thon, somewhere" back on the racing list .

Not many choices for this weekend. If you go to Maier let Chenille know
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
You have got to be kidding. In Nashville, of course, they would hold the run on Saturday. Not that they would hold this in Nashville.
That's probably because there is no boardwalk in Nashville.
Idiot
My other goal: Don't almost get run over by a bread truck (that happened last year).
So... your goal is to actually get hit by the truck?
Good luck, Jill!
Yes, I do "run in this." So should you. The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.
