Mach Tenn Triathlon - 0.6 mile swim, 16 mile bike, and 4 mile run distances. Last year's time was 1:35:54. With basically no biking and swimming so far this year....I'm shooting for sub 1:33. I think that's doable.
MTA: This is on Saturday June 6th (also my birthday) and they have free beer after the race...I'd like to down about 4 freebies to celebrate too.
Thunder smash!
Dopplebock - FANS24 Hour - June 6-7 - MN
Minimum goal - beat the existing course record (136.01)
Swinging for the fence > 144
Wet Swampy Dream > 150

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run."
And finding someone to give my Smuttynose Brewing Company beers to. Doug.
Man, that's just plain wrong. But ok, send them to me! I seem to recall Smuttynose makes a good IPA.
Hail to The Victors!
HobbyJogger & HobbyRacer
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Run to the Sun 4-Miler - Louisville, KY - Goal: don't go out to fast
I ran 23:15 in this race last year, but I had a much bigger base so I'm really not sure what to expect out of myself right now
"You NEED to do this" - Shara
Prince of Fatness
Goal is to beat the time I ran at the first race of the series last month, sub 21:04. That would be a PR.
Thanks for running these threads, Dakota.
Semi-retired.
I have a tri, and an openwater swim, with no time goals for either, so I think I'll be left off the list this week. Unless I decide to try to fit a 5K in before the openwater swim
Nice! Good luck!
Thanks. I'm going to go help with a crit tomorrow, and it has just occurred to me that I may as well lug along a bike and see if I can ride in the slowest heat -- I think I'll take a mountain bike that I like -- I'd rather get laughed at for riding a mountain bike than for how squeaky my road bike is
