Sat 10K, goal: keep up with DW for the 5K portion (10K does two loops). They're separating the starting times this year, so I gotta think of a new goal
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Goal is to be kinda lazy and still PR.
That's my goal every time I run. Haven't been very successful with that approach.
When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office. But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running. Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Hmmm. I think the only thing I've got going for me is my previous 50ks have had more elevation.

HUFF 50K Huntington, In Goal: sub- 6 hr
I'm treating this as a training run on a notoriously muddy, sloppy course. I have no idea what to expect time wise. Maybe I should set a goal of picking my feet up when I run, so I don't spend half the race picking myself off the ground.
