    Think Whirled Peas

Just because running is simple does not mean it is easy.

      More Cowbell!

What the hell does "GC" stand for? For real.

When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office.  But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running.  Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Thunder, what the hell does "GC" stand for? For real.

          Idiot

Dragon, we're screwed. But it will be fun.

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

              Thunder says:
The 75 is the total you and your partner need to have a minimum of to be in the General Classification. If combined you have 74 miles and 86 beers...you're total of 160 wouldn't place you. You'd be beat by some team who goes 75 and 76 w/ a total of 151, because they met the minimum in each catagory. This could involve a lot of stragety...and include injured folks. Heck, maybe I'll be hurt and Trent can run 120 miles, while I drink 120 beers for a total team score of 240. That would be tough to beat. Ehhh my liver hurts just saying that...anyway...I hope you get the point!

                Completely screwed. Totally fun.

Lank, I want to re-emphasize what an utter failure I will be in this competition. Globule '95 could have made the "GC" on his own, but the best that Globule '07 can hope for is a decent week running. I've been having to do all of my running at night on the treadmill lately, and that makes it really hard to drink. And to all of you who are going to give me shit for whining and making excuses ahead of time: well, you're right. I am whining and making excuses. And also, your mother's a whore. And she appreciated the Brazilian I gave her. On her back and mustache.

When you're on your deathbed, you won't be wishing that you'd spent more time at the office.  But you will be wishing that you'd spent more time running.  Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Yeah this is going to be the week before my last goal sprint tri of the year. That's going to be one nasty week...and one awful tri!

                    Thunder smash!

I actually have no partner, as sfh is injured, last I heard, and suggested I find another partner. sfh...how is your hip, by the way? What did the MRI show?

                      Sack up and run.

Also, can we get a clarification on what counts as "one drink"? My understanding is all alcohol counts...so...it would be: 12 oz of beer 8 oz of wine 1 oz of hard stuff Am I correct on this? What about mixed cocktails?

                        Sack up and run.

                        Len

                        Damn Yankee

Are you still up for this Marcus? It sucks you're hurt just when I'm starting to run more.
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. Carl Bard
Are you ready for this? I think I am... I'm finally getting out of some sort of rut and heading back into marathon training so my mileage will increase nicely (I hope). Drinking is part of summer so I'm always ready for that.
