The Logic of Long Distance
Skooter 2.5
Goal Time: 1:55:00 (9 minutes better than PR)
I've been feeling pretty confident about this race, unfortunately I did run into a little achilles/soleus pain yesterday, but I'm not going to panic. We'll see what happens.
Goals?

Hey, me too!
Get a massage ASAP. Someone who knows how to rip your achilles apart (the right way). During my 20-miler yesterday I was considering not running today at all, due to achilles soreness. Since the last day I didn't run was in January, that gives you an idea how I felt.
After the run I got a great massage from my wife (who is a CMT) and I just got back from a successful Monday run. My achilles is still sore and tender, but most of that is from the massage itself, which is a good thing. I'm much more confident now that this is going to end up as a minor tweak and that's all. Hopefully it's the same for you!
A two fer this weekend.
Corporate Challenge 5 mile - goal faster than last year's 34:30

I will be running the inaugural Renaissance Festival 10k in Shakopee MN. I will be shooting for 40:00 or less. This will be one of two 10k's that I have planed to make this goal. It would also be a PR by over 2min.

Never done a 10K, and I have felt like death lately, so we'll just go with 56min and say Yay! if anything better happens.
