My sister had a cat once who loved to be stuffed in a sock. She did it once for goofy Xmas photos. Put the cat in a stocking only his face out and hung him on the mantel. The cat started bringing the sock to her and following her around until she put him back in. Then he would go to sleep. He couldnt get out on his own, it was a straightjacket, but he would mew patiently until she released him when he wanted out.
