      Idiot

May 2, Columbus Half Marathon. Goal: I'm willing to be told this is too soft, but sub-1:50. Fuck it: 1:45 or bust

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

May 3rd Lehigh Valley HM Sub 1:50

Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson

          I fly.

            May 3 - 1/2 marathon - Long Branch 1/2 - Long Branch, NJ - ummm... 1:52 I guess.

            Bring it on.

              May 3rd - pittsburgh marathon Big grin I'd love to get <4.00, but i guess i'd be happy with 4.15-4.30ish it's my first! but="" i="" guess="" i'd="" be="" happy="" with="" 4.15-4.30ish="" it's="" my=""></4.00, but i guess i'd be happy with 4.15-4.30ish it's my first!>
May 2nd Kenosha, Wisconsin Half-Marathon Goal: 1:49:59 And Drew, your goal is just fine. Keep things nice and easy and then push it during that last 0.1 mile. Nothing too crazy. MTA - Skeeter, good luck at your first. It's supposed to be fun. MTA2 - Since Drew clearly didn't listen to my guidance I'll let him have his day in the sun. /kicksrocks

May 2 - Hagg Lake 10K - ummm...god I have no idea what kind of shape I am in. I did this race last year in 48:33, so lets say 51:33 I'm skeered of the downhills this year.

May 2, Wild Thang 9-Mile Trail Run. Nashville. No idea what my pace will be, since I've never done a trail run (even thouh this one isn't too traily)...Anyone, feel free to give me a time to shoot for. My delusioned goal, however, is to come in one of the top 3 overall women.
Racing season is in full swing, look at all the halves and marathons. I'd like to get under 19:00 for tomorrow night's 5K. Best of luck to all, especially Mr 8 Ball in Eureka and skeeter.

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your SPF30, may the rains fall soft upon your sweat-wicking hat, and until you hit the finish line may The Flying Spaghetti Monster hold you in the hollow of His Noodly Appendage.

Thanks guys! Lank, I don't think I should even have a time goal, because I want it to be fun and just not be worrying about time. Unfortunately, it sucks when a lot of the officers in my batallion are running the same race and keep asking me what I want to get and bugging me about time. I just want to say f--- off dudes, I'm running at my own pace hah! Big grin

Two races this weekend - Sat eve Frederick 5K - guess I'll shoot for sub-20 - and then earlly Sun morning Frederick Marathon. Think I'll do a relaxed one and shoot for sub-4. Wonder what the temp will be like Wink

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
