Charles River 7.5 Mile Race, Cambridge, MA
Goal - 6:20 Pace (whatever that comes out to, to lazy to figure it out or type it in the training log)
Seattle RnR Marathon - 3:40
Ileneforward - marathon - Washington - sub 4:40
Are you coming up to Seattle?

Wed:
5000m on the track, sub 18:36.
Various sprints that not even I care what I do in them.
1500m - after the 5000m and the sprints I'm gonna be beat worse than last week when I only managed 6:30 in the closing 1600 race, so let me set a difficult (for me) goal of 6:00 pace. I believe that is 5:35.
Thu:
Another mile race. Try for 5:25 again, since I failed last week.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Hail to The Victors!
Northville MI Solstice 10K. Goal: 39:17. (Prove that the 39:17 three weeks ago wasn't a short course).
Wife has her knee scoped the day before, so it might be a DNS, kinda playing it by ear.

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run."
Hometown AG win.
Well, even though you took off my "race" last week to the open bar at my brother's wedding, I'll play again. I did meet my goal though.
June 27. Dormont Dash 5K. It's a resurrected race, last ran in the 80s when tube socks were in. It's about a half-mile from my house, so pretty convenient. Also VERY hilly, so I dunno if a PR can be attained. I don't even know how to gauge the course, but it should be noted: Dormont means Mount of Gold. And I've been taking it easy since my ultra.
So, <20?

Sunday 28th 10K Prestwold, Leicestershire, time 41:00 as I think I have a lot more work to get sub 40:00 and it looks like its going to be hot. Its around an old WW11 airfield so it should be flat.

Seattle RnR Marathon - 3:40 Are you coming up to Seattle?
yes
I'm planning on racing on the track this week, running the mile and the 5000m. I'm hoping to break 4:50 in the mile, and I'd like to take another shot at sub-17 for the 5000. Should be exciting, I haven't raced on the track in ages.
Where is the track meet bells?
Obviously, we expect a race report written using RAF Banter
The process is the goal.
