shorts. then a skirt over it. why?
Some girls need a skirt to feel sexy, some just need a few shots of patron.

Skirts are for tennis. Or maybe field hockey. They just look silly for running.
WHAT NOW, BITCHES?

I just can't get comfy with the running skirt. It just doesn't feel right slipping into running shoes while wearing a skirt. I have one skirt for running and I only wear it when I run on the treadmill, in my house, where nobody from the outside world can see me, and only when my running shorts/capris are in the laundry.
I do admire the men who have tried wearing one. Lots of courage and humor is needed to do that.

Um, disagreement? They don't look silly.
They don't all have shorts underneath, some just have a spanky. Like the bunhuggers that elites run in, but with a light skirt over it.
Why dress like a boy?

Why dress like you're heading to the country club for some tennis and a few cocktails?
mta: doh, Tanya's answer is so much better than mine. Damn.

I like how the skirts look, until I put on the running shoes. Maybe I just don't have the right skirt, it really isn't all that comfortable. Maybe, just maybe, if I found one that was more comfortable than my shorts or capris I would have a change of heart.

Capris?
Capri Pants ("capris") are a style of pants usually worn in warm weather. They are designed to end mid-calf or just below the calf. More recently, the length of the pants has been shortened to just below the knee in some designs. Though capri pants are most popular with women, they have become popular among men in many countries, especially Europe. Although they have recently begun to be worn by young and middle-aged men in urban areas of the United States, they remain largely unpopular there. They are still primarily worn by women in the U.S.
Like the ones I'm wearing in my avatar.

I like skirtsports.com the best. target second. Running skirts.com last, they just do not have set sizing at there. I have 3 skirts from runningskirts.com in the same size, but each skirt fits differently.
I run exclusively in skirts. I did not know mikeymike wore skirts to the country club for tennis though. I want pics of that.

For me the skirt leads to chaffing. Maybe I don't run enough.
I need to work on that.

Yeah, he wears those sometimes.
Knickers, sure, I guess they're the same thing. I think my 75 y/o uncle would call them that.
