Dude. 3:39 in that?
You have a 3:15, maybe even 3:10, in you
this calendar year
. Possibly within a couple of months. If you want.
Just get a little more consistent, try to get 50-60
pretty much every week
. Try to get a quality 2+ hour run in
pretty much every week
. Try to get a solid 90+ minute mid-week run
pretty much every week
. Avoid the big highs and lows. Steer clear of random stunts that serve no purpose but to make your summary graph look "interesting." Keep your quality workouts in the high end of aerobic like between 10k and MP (I'd call it LT work but I've got a rep to protect.)
Oh in the process you'll also run a 5K under 20 minutes. That will just happen as a side effect.
If you want, that is. It's right there.
mta: bump.

Fixed.
Yeah, Mikey, it was impressive. Even the winner ran 10 minutes off his usual Tupelo effort and Casa came in well below his goal. JK done good.

I know from a couple of hot and humid long runs of my own this year how hard it can be to maintain pace so -
WELL DONE!!

I was going to wait for the actual ape to check in but what the heck.
Amazing job!! Imagine what you could do on a flat cool one?
I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.

I was beginning to think that maybe you two were coordinating your vacation schedules now.

He said he would write something up right after he finished with his quest to have an act of deficating while wearing spandex on a bicycle named after him...here's a shot of him "going" before the wikipedia judges.
