Spencer Mountain 10 miler Gastonia, NC exactly 30 minutes slower than Jeff - 1:25:00 , 1:26+ more likely,The hill at mile 8 gives me nightmares, monkeyesque even.

Run for a Mission 5K    --  Willowick, OH     Goal: PR and < 22:15 (current PR 22:47)

Probably last shot in 2009 at the 5K.  New race but course should be flat and weather looks good so no more excuses.  I would really like to smash through that 22:15 but will set a reasonable 32 sec off PR.

Wow. That is so weird. I can't believe that 10 miler is 10 miles this year!

Damn.  You pull that off and I vote  no matter how fast Jeff does the 10 miler.  Good luck.

                Thunder smash!

Thanks man.  I'm not trying to hijack a running forum.  I've never cracked 1 hour in an open 10 miler.  Even if it was 10 miles long.

                      Goal: 6:30, but I don't really care.

Me and Brixton (she's more of a lurker) are doing a duathlon in Cambridge, I'm running 2.6, she is biking 12 and then I'm running a 5k, goal is to win the relay part and run sub 19 5k, putting in a lot of miles this wk and would like to get under 19 since I haven't since last Spring.

That's spectacular. What other diseases to they like to represent on t-shirts - breast cancer awareness, STD awareness?

                          The process is the goal.

Very cool.  A fast 10 miler sounds like a lot of fun at the moment.

I'm in the business of misery...
