E.J.Greater Lowell Road RunnersCry havoc and let slip the dawgs of war!May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your SPF30, may the rains fall soft upon your sweat-wicking hat, and until you hit the finish line may The Flying Spaghetti Monster hold you in the hollow of His Noodly Appendage.

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run."
Prince of Fatness
Saturday. Final tuneup before my September marathon.
Three Bridges 5 Miler, Three Bridges, NJ. Goal = 34:10 and drink a few free beers.
Semi-retired.
Finally, back at it. First race in almost 2 months 30K Midsummer's Night Run Toronto sub 2:20
Same event as Daddyo... but I'm doing the 15k. Same goal Sub 2:20.
Lets say the real goal is Sub 1:20 + shut down the beer tent with Daddyo + tuf_aint_enough.
Hometown AG win.
Midsummer's Night Run. 15k. Toronto.
Faster than last year (<1:09.)

Tuf, This will be after a 15 miler in the morning again correct?
JR & Tuf, I can't linger in the beer tent too long. The deal I made was to drive home from north country, run the race and head back up same night. I will linger for a couple thoug as long as the mrs is ok to drive while I navigate nap.

Nah. I'll do an easy hour in the morning. That's it. Group is going 21 mi. and running both would just be silly...
DW and DD are coming down to watch. DD has her fairy dress ready to go. Wings and all. This may impact how long I spend in the beer tent as well. DW doesn't like my friends as a rule. Ask JR. Plus, she's like 7 months pregnant and all that.

Why does you DW hate all of your friends?
Am I going to have to shut down the beer tent alone? Guess we'll have to do shots in between beers.

Another One. Leadville Trail 100miler. He's gonna say "finish". By "finish", he means "24:59:59".
thanks Trent. (you sure got that up there quick)
thanks Dakota post away.
"As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man I have chalked up many a mile. Read dozens of books about heroes and crooks, And I've learned much from both of their styles." ~ Jimmy Buffett
"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”
We missed you in Monkeyville this morning.
By "we", I mean me and the monkeys.
