Mmmmm... venison burgers - just straight-up ground meat, or a special recipe?

I had deer burgers for dinner last night. Felt kinda bad about that. Never had it before. Smells weird when it's cooking up.
Why would that make you feel bad?
Bambi is mighty tasty.
Besides, if a deer had half the chance, he'd kill you and everyone that you love.

Just a tube of ground venison. Added some pepper before cooking and some Packo's Hot Dog sauce after cooking. It was gourmet. And it's still sitting like a rock in my stomach.

My buddy's recipe - 1/4 cup crumbled rare-cooked bacon per pound venison, + a tsp or so of your favorite hot sauce (he uses Worcester sauce instead
) - smoky, spicy, smell
great
when they're cooking... OK, now I'm hungry - and still a week to go before I can get me some.
MTA: mix all ingredients together before you form them

I don't have a good answer for that. Next time I'll make a point to enjoy it more.
There's a bunch of Bambi's in city-surrounded park where I run. They usually bolt off the trail when I come by, but there are few that are so indifferent to people that they don't budge. I have a feeling you'd teach them a thing or two.

Get distracted there?
I have some Brooklyn Brewing Co. Brooklyn Local 1 at home. Not sure if I should save it for an occasion or not.

You drink Brooklyn? Where do you live? Just finished a six of their Oktoberfest beer, well not just finished, but there is none left in the fridge.

I live outside Philadelphia.
I have had some of their stuff, not much. There's some bars that carry it on draft, too. I was at one, enjoying the chocolate stout. That was a good night.

I almost had a heart attack while running with deer the other morning. It was early and dark. I was running outside the fence around JSC when all of the sudden I could hear this heavy breathing and a clicky noise. Two deer were running hard and breathing hard right at the edge of the fence. I thought the Abominable/abdomenable ? Snowman or something was after me.
