Ben Herron.
Yes, he is a long time friend of the race, and a sweetheart. I ran the last mile or so with him this year.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Eye of Sauron
I was happy before the race.
I was happy the monday after the race. I am invisible in the pic because I am hiding.
In between? Nooooooooooooo.

And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
Wow it's gorgeous up there! I've been In that area, but not in the fall.
It is indeed gorgeous in the fall; reminded me of New England with all the fall colors. It was pretty hot the year I ran it (mid 70s, which is hot for this Seattle girl), but we came home on Monday to snow!
Upcoming races: 5/18 Watershed Preserve 12-hour, 6/2 North Olympic Discovery Marathon, 6/15 Bighorn 50, 7/27 White River 50, 8/24 Cascade Crest <gulp>

A Saucy Wench
I've been through this thread three times now, and I'm still laughing, knowing that every time Ennay reads this it goes through her head as "Nevah. Evah. Evah. Trust a faht." I tried not training this year. IT DIDN"T FRICKIN WORK !! My legs are still sore, almost two weeks later. Walk the ups, jog the downs. By the end the downs were more painful than anything else - walking or jogging. Gravity sucks. And even with the early start I still missed the keg tapping and most of the Hefeweizen. You PROMISED me we were going to run more this year. At least so we could die more quickly next year.

Yes, I do
I'm not sore anymore. But I did sleep like crazy for like 10 days afterwards.
It is hardly possible for me to run less. But I will run more. DIE QUICKER DIE QUICKER

Did you take the 2hour early start like I recommended?
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
If only someone had shared this nugget of wisdom with Sully before this year's Monkey...oh wait SOMEONE DID.
TONY! I met you. You lurker you.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
I don't intend to be a lurker, but I am a man of few words. And usually, what I do want to say, isn't very interesting anyways. And then, there's always the risk of saying something dumb and totally being blasted by everyone!
Anne, your graph looks funny. We should blast you.
My graph is giving everyone the finger
Hey so I decided on Eugene. Woot woot.
You gonna come eat Mexicans with me after?
