Not at the moment, but that could change... There are some old races I'd love to run again (assuming they still exist). If I can make it happen I might run the President's Cup again (and see my old house, which is turning to a real crack den)...
Cool, lemme know.
I remember that name. He ran D3 somewhere. Obviously, it must have been out east.
My buddy, Dan Princic, is on the right side of the title bar on the website, looking like he's trying to pinch a loaf or something.
There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.
Back beat, the word was on the street That the fire in your heart is out I'm sure you've heard it all before But you never really had a doubt
The Diary of a Once-ran.
Yup he ran for Allegheny.
Runners run.
I had to go look him up:
NCAC Championships:
"Allegheny's Dan Princic was named the Distance Event Performer of the Meet after winning the 1500-, 5000- and 10,000-meter runs."
Among other things (like a 14:40 indoors), that's some nice work right there.
No Talent Drips
Antoher Spring Marathon option in Maine (partly). Only 10 short hours from NJ. First year for this one, but they say it will be certified prior to race day. Almost guaranteed to be foggy and in the 50s.
Nads, I will almost certainly be at the Loaf. It was warm there last year (what wasn't?), but is typically a pretty comfortable race.
You should go get the clap just so you can give it to her. --beef
SELFISH, like you.

It was very comfortable, compared to Boston.
Maine Coast is on Mother's day and the day after my youngest two daughters' dance recital. In case anyone was wondering.
Here's a crazy thought...I'm actually considering the BAA 5k marathon. I know, right? Never mind that, it's sold out. Probably for the best.
Other than that, depending on whether you use the meteorological calendar or the astrological one, I either have 1 or 0 Spring races currently on the plan: New Bedford Half Marathon on March 17th.
Thanks, guys. It is gonna be Vermont City for me. The date works, it's relatively close, the course seems reasonable, and there's a buffer day (Memorial Day) between the race and work.
tl;dr: What made it hard was that Rick and Jen put on great events and are friends of mine. But I'd mainly be running the loop with ultra folks who are pacing for 50k or 24, 48 or 72 hours. There's a good chance I'd be the only guy racing 1 x 26.2 at my particular pace in a throng of ultra runners. It may be my only shot at a BQ this year.
The loaf is the same day as my daughter's confirmation. Just in case you were wondering.
Although I've DNS'd every race entry so far this year, with New Bedford likely being the next one to go..., I did register for this jog along crappy roads in the fog and bugs. Because, you know, it's Canada, heh, and the 16miles of the course over there are shorter than American miles.
Did an angel whisper in your ear and hold you close and take away your fear...In those long last moments
Congrats!
Thanks! She might want to look at Champlain College the following weekend. They grow up so fast.
July 13 KneeKnacker (I have name in lottery, the only way for most to get in)
One of the guys that marks the course and runs this most years used to post as mudrunner but has not been around the interweb for a couple of years. Every canajun runner I ask always has good things to say about him.
The course pictures he posted always made my uterus hurt. good luck
I think you'll like it, Nads. I ran it in 2010 and it's definitely one I'd like to get back to someday.
I put it under there.

The race is only around 31 miles, but with the crazy profile I heard that to get an idea for predicting your finish time, you double your marathon time. I've ran parts of the course and it seem optimistic to me. I don't know what is wrong with me to suddenly signing up for those races
I have to ask around about this mudrunner character, because some of the people I run trails with would know him for sure. Maybe even I know him
Slow and steady never wins anything.
