NJ Fall Trail Race Series #3
5 Miles
Schooley's Mountain, NJ
This is the same course that I ran a couple of weeks ago. Since there were no flowers, the goal of picking them is out. I did make a wrong turn last time, so let's make the goal no wrong turns, and have a couple of beers with Hasher.
Goals for 2011: Sub 16 5K Sub 33 10K Sub 1:15 Half Top 3 at Maine Marathon
Hanibal Granite - 1/2 Marathon - Iron Horse 1/2 Marathon - Oct. 31 - Midway, KY - 6 min pace or better or win the race.
This is the first year for this race and the course is challenging so I may be fooling myself about what kind of shape I'm in and whether or not I have a chance to win, if so I may blow up spectacularly in the last few miles.

10/30 St. Thomas School 5k - Sanford, ME - 19:26, PR
10/31 White Mt. Milers Half Marathon - N. Conway, NH - 1:31:00, PR
These seemed like a much better idea before Baystate. My plan is to have no plan and just go out like a stupid bat out of hell. Should go well, I think.
I put it under there.

I ran the St. Thomas 5K last year. IMO, it's a much faster course than the one you PR'd on in July. If you're not too sore from the marathon, you should PR.

ugh. I can't get up for this. I hate having to go to Tulsa to race. OKC sucks. I may just race some cows instead. Good luck, Paul!
I'm back.

Very random, but I learned to drive in Schooley's Mountain... so I guess beware of teenagers learning to drive. (You'll have major problems if you see them on the trail).
Bring it on.
